Case Study - Garden Road, Sundridge Park
We removed the main chimney breast (delicately, as the client wanted to retain the ornate and original fireplaces to the first floor). Areas of the first floor were removed and replaced, a small rear extension was added and walls were knocked down to facilitate changes in the layout of the house.
As well as this the garage was converted to accommodate a gym and boiler/utility room, the downstairs bathroom was knocked through and re-fitted, the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms were re-configured to allow for a reasonable family size bathroom.
The whole house was re-plumbed, re-wired, re-plastered and re-decorated; including features and character being put back into the period house such as bespoke coving and ornate architraves and skirting.
Externally the front garden was re-designed to incorporate a sweeping in and out drive. In the rear garden a disused space was transformed into a raised play area.
The project took 5 months to complete.
